They have a variety of pieces that incorporate girly-feminine & freshly modern style all into one.  Whether you are looking for tops & blouses, outerwear, or dresses, they will surely have something for you.

Now, their Valencia coat as shown above, is surely a timeless investment piece for your wardrobe, and the color pattern & two-toned detail make it truly unique.  The coat is also fully lined, if you have a sensitivity to wool as I do.

Classic & Clean: Silk + Distressed Denim

Hello loves! I know this post is much overdue, but life has been a little crazy lately.  Plus, I don’t know about you but I have been trying to soak up the last little bit of summer at the beach while I still can!

Now, this clean & classic look can be easily transitioned into fall if it is no longer warm enough for shorts where you are.  And although I am in love with the lace detail on these shorts from Gray Monroe, they have plenty of other fall transitional pieces you can incorporate into your wardrobe.

Including some cute pairs of distressed jeans which would go perfectly with my absolute favorite current go to silk top from Nordstrom’s.

Now ladies, if you do not own a top like this, I am telling you I promise that you need one.  It is perfect for brunch, shopping, or any other daytime activities that come your way.

The key is finding the right neck line (try departing from the typical button down), and the right hue.  Light colored hues such as light pink, purple, ivory, and white, are especially versatile & crisp looking.

And if silk is too high maintenance or expensive for you, I have linked a couple of different ones made of different fabrics and varying price points.  As well as a couple of my favorite delicate necklaces to polish the look, but not distract from it.

Please do yourself a favor and invest in a flowy feminine top like this for fall, and be sure to check out the latest arrivals from Gray Monroe.  Their price points range from $20-$45 and can easily fit into anyone’s budget!

Wishing you a fabulous day my beautiful friends! xoxo ♥♥

The warm weather must-have top

Hello loves!! Today I am bringing to the blog this gorgeous sheer top with unique geometric detailing by Shop Pink Blush.  Part of the reason I am so in love with it is because it is the perfect length to be worn as a tunic over leggings or even as a cover-up over a swim-suit.  But you can also just as easily wear it over your favorite pair of skinny jeans.

It is effortlessly comfortable and the perfect casual but slightly dressy top.  It will definitely succeed in kicking your daytime look up a notch.  Now, because it is sheer, you can wear virtually any color tank top underneath to completely change the overall mood of the look.  If you wear it over a neutral tank such as white or nude, you can make it look more sweet & refreshing.

If you want to make it look more fun, daring & a little sexy, you can wear it over a colored lace tank or even a crop top.  The choice is yours & it is completely up to you to make the look your own depending on your personality!

As shown above, I created two different but equally cute & feminine looks with this top.  One with black distressed denim & lace-ups for when you are on the go during the day.  And one with light blue boyfriend fit distressed denim & nude pumps, perfect for meeting your bestie for happy hour!  Both looks I accessorized with a Rebecca Minkoff bag that is the ideal size to fit your daily needs that can be worn as a shoulder bag or as a cross-body.

Now, if you have not visited their Shop Pink Blush online site, I highly recommend taking a look.  They have hundreds of cute tops in a multitude of styles & fits to suit just about every girl’s needs.  They also have adorable dresses & maxis that are perfect for the upcoming warm weather months, and a maternity shop if you are on a search for looks to flatter your bump!

And there you have it friends! Wishing you the perfect ending to your week.  It is so hard to believe it’s the last weekend in February! I don’t know about you but once March hits I am in full-on spring mode regardless of the temps!! xoxo ♥♥

New leather classic: the sleeveless tank

Hello friends & happy Saturday!  Today I am bringing to the blog a new must-have: the leather tank.  Now, of course the trend lately has been leather skinny jeans & jeggings.  And then the all-time favorite leather wardrobe staple has always been & probably always will be the leather jacket in its various styles.

However, I promise you a leather tank will be a completely worthwhile addition.  It looks so well put together, and is so fun to work with as a stand alone piece in warmer weather with a black skirt, or virtually any color of skinny jeans depending on your mood.  Combine it with a pair of strappy heels & your favorite leather hand bag and your look is complete!  Then in cooler weather, simply toss on a sweater wrap and a pair of boots and you are fully winterized!

Now, you can go for vegan or the real thing depending on your preference & budget.  And below I have linked the leather tank shown above, as well as some other options, and pieces to complete your look, all of the way down to the booties.

This is truly a look you can have fun with that is perfect for both a dinner party and a girl’s night out, and you will look uber chic & appropriately dressed for either.  So enjoy & have a wonderfully relaxing yet productive rest of your weekend! xoxo ♥♥

2 ways to style that cute graphic t-shirt

Happy weekend loves! Today I am bringing to you two ways to wear your favorite sweet, sassy, or slightly amusing graphic T!  Now I must admit I love to be comfortable, and while it may seem obvious, being comfortable is completely essential to one’s self confidence, which is the most notable aspect to any look.  Having confidence in how you look can make or break any ensemble.

That being said, one way to be comfortable while you are going to a semi-formal event, is to pair a comfortable T-shirt with a cute A-line knee length skirt.  Then you can accessorize the look with your favorite statement necklace, or one of The Peach Box’s gorgeous pieces like the lovely rose gold bracelets shown above.  Toss on a pair of sparkly or brightly hued pumps, or a standout clutch & you are holiday party ready!

Then, to make the most out of that cute T, toss it on with a pair of distressed denim & your favorite ultra cool Moto jacket, and you will look totally fabulous while doing that last minute Christmas shopping! That being said, the best part of the holidays is spending time with friends and loved ones, so make sure to stop & have a drink or a bite to eat afterward with someone that warms your heart & brings a smile to your face. Here’s hoping your weekend comes to a sweet end! xoxo ♥♥

Distressing Denim – DIY

So, my friends, as you may have noticed, distressed denim is very on trend right now.  And if you have a pair or two of denim that you find a little less than exciting that you would like to experiment with, I recommend giving it a try.  You will definitely make them more unique looking, and you can bring an old pair of jeans back to life, while having some fun in the process!

After trying a few different materials including a cheese grater – yes a cheese grater…it’s not just for parmesan!  My number 1 recommendation for distressing denim is sandpaper.  Now, I tried a couple of different kinds, as your local hardware store will have many to choose from.  The ones I tried that worked the best were Drywall screens by 3M.  Now, the nice thing about these is that they are a mesh screen that you can rip into sections to make it easier to mold into the perfect size pieces that you can use to distress a smaller or larger section of denim as you desire.

Once you have your piece of mesh sandpaper ready, all you do is lay out the denim flat on the floor, & rub the denim until it starts to slightly fray.  At this point it is up to you how far you want to take it, if you want strands or an actual hole, and how big you want the distressed section to be.  You may want to slide your hand underneath the section or try the jeans on before you continue, as you can always do more later, but you can’t go backward.

Now, I recommend also utilizing a pair of gloves so that you don’t shred the skin on your fingers in the process, however, if you don’t want to hassle with it, your skin will be back to normal in about a day…lol yes I know from experience if you were wondering.

Each pair that I distressed as shown above took about took about 1 hour.  If you are worried in the slightest as to how it will turn out, try it on that pair of jeans in your closet that you never wear first.

So, on that note, head out to your local Home Depot or Lowe’s and have fun my lovelies!  xo
