‘Tis the season for oversized knits

Hello lovelies! I hope you have all been having an amazing weekend! Today I wanted to share with you a trend that has been popping up everywhere lately now that the colder temps have arrived.

That trend being oversized sweaters.  Now, don’t feel that your options are limited in any way as far as what type of bottom goes best with the look.

You can wear them with skinny jeans, distressed denim, leggings, skirts, or over dresses.  Truly, the options are endless.  The key however, if you chose to go with a pant, select one that is at least slightly fitted.

If you wear oversized knits with wide leg or baggy boyfriend jeans the look will overwhelm you.  And if you go with distressed slightly baggy denim, I recommend wearing some type of heel to accentuate your femininity & make the look more modern.

OTK boots are perfect to complete the look when you wear them with skirts, as shown in the look I styled above.

Now, I chose a creamy white sweater because of my love for neutrals with pops of color, but they come in just about any hue, so feel free to pick your favorite.  I recommend sticking to 2 hues for your look, or variations of a similar color palatte so that the look isn’t too busy, especially with the larger sized knit.

Just FYI, the sweater I linked is incredibly soft & comfortable & I highly recommend it.  But be sure to try this trend, I assure you that it will suit just about anyone! And I can say that since I’m only 5’3″!

Sending you all some S&S love! xoxo ♥♥
